Myofascial Therapy

When physical or emotional trauma, injury, and dehydration occur, your fascia crystalizes and becomes restricted causing pain, limited range of motion, and misalignment in our body.

John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Therapy works directly with the fascial system to decrease pain, restructure compensation patterns, replenish hydration, and restore functional alignment and flexibility. Myofascial Therapy benefits the healing of emotional trauma and PTSD.

A customized trauma-informed integrative session includes JFB Myofascial Therapy, a fascia-approached movement repertoire, guided meditation, somatic healing, and energy work.

Myofascial Yoga

Move the way you were meant to

This fascia-centered Yoga (with specialized Movement techniques) is about deepening your practice and improving your natural functional movement, elastic recoil, and posture.

In these sessions you meet yourself and discover from the inside, how the fascia is truly activated in your body and how it’s listening to keep you moving in the world pain-free.

Each session, we will explore how to awaken self-healing abilities with a gentle fascia-focused movement repertoire from the work created by Rev.Dr. Joanne Avison and Paul Thornley (Myofascial Magic in Action), and Christine Wushke (Myofascial Yoga Institute of Canada).

*This work is the perfect companion to Myofascial Therapy and is offered as part of a package plan. Virtual sessions are also available.
